Rev. Roy Baby was born in a Christian family. From his young age, he took an active interest in learning about the Christian faith . He committed his life to the Lord when He was twelve years old and was baptized at the age of eighteen. When he was nineteen years old, He felt personally called to a life of serving the Lord. He has completed B.Th. (Bethel Bible College, Punalur), M.Div. (SABC, Bangalore), M.Th. (SAIACS, Bangalore), M.A. Sociology (M.K.University, Madurai) After his graduation, He continued in a Full time Pastoral Ministry with Assemblies of God . In 2002, he started teaching in IPC Theological Seminary, Kottayam. He became an ordained minister in 2013. After completing D. Min. program, and further teaching the students of Jameson School of Theology in Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York for about six years, he felt God’s guidance to come back to India and work among the Tamil speaking people in the boarder of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Since January 2016, he is working with Light of the Nations Ministries, and have moved to Munnar and giving its leadership (Director) in India. He serves Lord with his wife Liji and two daughters (Reah & Rayna).
